Eligibility
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates) in each of the subjects.
Admission Procedure
The admission is based on the score in the JEE (Main) Exam conducted by JEE Apex Board of the C.B.S.E. (For details visit www.jeemain.nic.in) and marks scored (normalized) in the Class 12th or 10+2 in the ratio of 60:40. The Admission is made by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) set up by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation. The qualified candidates are required to register for seat allocation (For details visit http://josaa.nic.in/webinfo/Default.aspx).
Note : The admissions of Foreign Nationals/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/ Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) under Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) is based on the score in the SAT (For details visit www.dasanit.org/dasa2016/).

Eligibility
For admission to M. Tech., the candidates belonging to General or Open category (GN/OC/OP)/ Other Backward Classes (OB/OBC) should have scored 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale or 60% marks in the Qualifying examination, the SC/ ST/ (PD/PH/PWD) candidates should have scored 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale or 55% marks in the Qualifying examination.
For M. Tech. Computer Science & Engineering (Analytics): B.E./ B. Tech. or equivalent in any branch of Engineering with valid GATE score in CS.
For M. Tech. Electronics & Communication Engineering: B.E./ B. Tech. or equivalent in any branch of Engineering OR M.Sc. in any branch of Sciences/ Mathematics/ Statistics with valid GATE score in EC.
Admission Procedure
The admission to M. Tech. is based on the score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and all the Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The candidates with valid GATE score are required to participate in the CCMT (Centralized Counselling for M. Tech./ M. Arch./ M. Plan. Admissions) conducted by one of the National Institutes’ of Technology as authorized by the NIT Council (For details visit www.ccmt.in).
Duration
Two Academic years comprising of 4 Semesters.
Ph.D. Programs:
  • The National Institute of Technology Delhi offers Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Humanities and Management, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
Eligibility
Master’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology or equivalent in an appropriate area with a minimum CPI equivalent to 60% of marks as per conversion formula prescribed by the University/Institute. OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology with an excellent academic record and with a CPI equivalent to 70% of marks as per conversion formula prescribed by the University/Institute. The candidates with valid GATE score are given preference.
Admission Procedure
The National Institute of Technology Delhi invites applications for admission in the months of October/November and May/June. The candidates are short-listed on the basis of their overall academic performance and are invited for Written Test/ Interview conducted by the respective Departments (For details visit http://nitdelhi.ac.in/).
Fee Structure of National Institute of Technology Delhi
The Fee for different courses as fixed for the year 2015-2016 in National Institute of Technology Delhi is as follows:
  • The fee for B.Tech. & M.Tech. courses for General & OBC category candidates is Rs. 45,200/- per student per semester which includes Rs. 1,000/- as Admission fee, Rs. 35,000/- as Tuition fee, Rs. 3,000/- as Development fee, Rs. 1,200/- for Library & Book Bank, Rs. 1,000/- for Computer/Internet, Rs. 1,500/- for Sports & Creative Arts Society, Rs. 500/- as Students Welfare Fund, Rs. 1,000/- for Industrial Training & Placement, Rs. 1,000/- as Examination Fee. The fee for SC/ ST category candidates is Rs. 20,200/- per student per semester as they do not need to pay Tuition fee. The Tuition fee in case of DASA (B.Tech. students) is $4000 (for Non SAARC Countries Nationals) & $2000 (for SAARC Countries Nationals who have passed the qualifying examination in SAARC Countries).
  • The fee for Ph.D. course is Rs. 27,100/- per student for Odd semesters & Rs. 15,500/- per student for Even semesters.
  • The fee for availing Hostel facility is Rs. 10,000/- per semester. In addition to that, the students have to pay Rs. 500/- as Admission fee (One time only), Rs. 10,000/- as Hostel Security (Refundable) & Rs. 10,000/- as Mess Security (Refundable).
