First Year of Engineering & Technology:
Passed I.S.C. Examination (12-year course) of the CISCE or S.S.C. Examination (12-year course) of CBSE or Any other examination recognized as equivalent to S.S.C. Examination from a recognized School/College/Institute and securing 60% marks (54% marks for SC/ST/PwD category candidates, 57% marks for OBC-NCL & Defence category candidates) in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The candidates must have passed English as a subject of study of the S.S.C. Examination Level (Core or Elective) and he/she must have passed in each subject separately.
Note: The applicant must be 17 years of age and maximum 25 years of age on or before 1st October of the year of admission.
Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry):
Passed three-year regular Diploma in any branch of Engg. awarded by any State Board of Technical Education/ Diploma recognized by AICTE, Delhi with 60% marks (54% marks for SC/ST/PwD category candidates, 57% marks for OBC-NCL) or equivalent CGPA.

First Year of Engineering & Technology:
The admission is based on the merit/ rank in the JEE (Main) Paper 1 conducted by National Testing Agency (For details visit www.nta.ac.in or https://jeemain.nta.nic.in). The On-line Counselling for admission is conducted by Joint Admission Counselling Committee. Note: 85% of the total seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Delhi Region (students passing the qualifying examination from recognized School/ College/ Institution located within the NCT of Delhi only) and 15% of the total seats for candidates belonging to outside Delhi Region (students passing the qualifying examination from recognized School/ College/ Institution located outside the NCT of Delhi). For a candidate who has passed the qualifying examination through Patrachar Vidyalaya, Delhi/ NIOS, Delhi, the criterion for deciding the region shall be the location of his Centre of examination.

Four Academic years comprising of 8 Semesters, Three Academic years comprising of 6 Semesters for lateral entry candidates.

Passed State Board Diploma Examination in Engg. of 3 years duration in any corresponding branch or any other examination, recognized equivalent there to by the Delhi Technological University with a minimum aggregate (aggregate of all six semesters/three years) of 55% marks (45% marks for SC/ST category candidates). The candidates having Diploma through Correspondence/Distance Education are not eligible for this program. The candidate must have an experience of not less than One year as on 1st September of the year of admission, in full-time employment, training or apprenticeship in Installation, Operation and Maintenance or some other recognized field of work in an approved Engineering Work/Organization and should be presently working in the Organization located in the NCT of Delhi and Contiguous Industrial Areas, i.e., Bahadurgarh, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Sonepat, Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida & Greater Noida) and Gurgaon. The candidate must produce a ‘NOC’ in original from the employer which should be renewed annually.

Note 4: The Full-Time Sponsored candidates must be : Employees of PSUs or Govt. Departments or Educational & Research Institutions having 1-year experience as on 31st July of the year of admission. The eligibility requirement is same as for full-time candidates except that the requirement of qualifying in GATE is waived off. A Few candidates are also admitted through DRDO Schemes, for which the admission procedure is separate. These candidates should contact DRDO authorities for sponsorship.
Note 5: The Part-Time Sponsored candidates should have same work experience as in case of Full-Time Sponsored candidates with the additional requirement that such Organizations must be located within the Delhi NCR.

The Delhi Technological University invites On-line Applications in the month of April/May every year. All the candidates are required to register & fill the Application form On-line only (For details visit https://cumsdtu.in/AdmissionsWebsite). The respective Departments, in consultation with the Ph.D. coordinator, short-list the candidates for the purpose of Screening Test (Written Test). The candidates are short-listed for Interview on the basis of marks secured in the Screening Test. These candidates are required to come along with small power point presentation on the topic of their interest during the Interview.
The Screening Test is waived only for UGC/ CSIR/ DST/ JRF fellowship holders, Foreign students who apply through MHRD and Foreign students under Cultural Exchange Fellowship Program. The students with JRF fellowship are also exempted from the Screening Test for admission in the Part-Time Ph.D. program without fellowship.

Two Academic years comprising of 4 Semesters.

For all the MBA Courses: The student should hold a degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the Central or State legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 OR possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. Those who are appearing in final semester examination may also apply provided that they submit the proof of eligibility by specified date.
MBA: Passed any Bachelor’s degree examination with 60% marks for General/ KM candidates (54% marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates) or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/Institution.
MBA (Business Analytics): Passed an Engineering degree/ a Graduate degree program with one paper in Mathematics/Statistics with 60% marks for General/ KM candidates (54% marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates) or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/Institution.
MBA (Executive): Passed any Bachelor’s degree examination with 50% marks for General/ KM candidates (45% marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates) or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/Institution. The candidates should have : (i) Minimum 3 years work experience after four year’s Degree (B.E., B.Tech., B.Arch. etc.), (ii) Minimum 4 years work experience after three year’s Degree (B.A, B.Sc., B. Com, BCA, etc.). The last date of application is treated as the cut off date in determining the experience of the candidate.
MBA (FB&E): Passed any Bachelor’s degree examination with 50% marks for General/ KM candidates (45% marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates) or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/Institution. The candidates must have credentials of family business with GST number.
MBA (IE&VD): Passed any Bachelor’s degree examination with 50% marks for General/ KM candidates (45% marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates) or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/Institution.

For MBA: The DTU uploads Information bulletin & Application form on CMAC website in the month of January/February every year. All the candidates are required to register & fill the Application form On-line only. The Centrallized Counselling is conducted by Common Management Admission Committee, Delhi (For details visit https://cmac.admissions.nic.in/webinfo/Public/Home.aspx).
The admission is based on the score in the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by one of the IIMs’. The candidates are short-listed on the basis of performance in CAT & are required to appear in GD & PI.
For MBA (Business Analytics): The DTU invites On-line Applications in the month of January/February every year. All the candidates are required to register & fill the Application form On-line only (For details visit https://cumsdtu.in/AdmissionsWebsite).
The admission is based on the score in the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by one of the IIMs’. The candidates are short-listed on the basis of performance in CAT & are required to appear in PI. The merit list for admission is prepared on the basis of CAT socre (70%) & PI score (30%).
For MBA (Executive)/ MBA (FB&E)/ MBA (IE&VD): The DTU invites On-line Applications in the month of March/April every year. All the candidates are required to register & fill the Application form On-line only (For details visit https://cumsdtu.in/AdmissionsWebsite).
MBA (Executive): The merit list for admission is prepared on the basis of Work experience, Academic performance and PI.
MBA (FB&E)/ MBA (IE&VD): The merit list for admission is prepared on the basis of Graduation marks (40%), Case Study (20%), PI (30%), Gender Diversity (5%), Academic Diversity (5%).
