The Cluster Innovation Centre has been established by the University of Delhi.

The Cluster Innovation Centre has Engineering Kitchen, Robotics & Embedded Systems Lab, Digital Fabrication & Rapid Prototyping Lab, IT Innovations Lab, Computer Cluster, Library. The University provides more than 34 Libraries, Computer Centre, Separate Hostels for boys & girls, Medical facility, Sports facility, Air-conditioned Conference Centre, Utility Centre (having Post Office, Banks, D.T.C. Bus Pass counter, Cooperative Store, Railway Reservation Counter), Cafeteria, University Science Instrumentation Centre, Central Placement Cell.

Under Graduate Courses:
  • B.Tech. Information Technology & Mathematical Innovations
    Seats – 40
Eligibility in Cluster Innovation Centre (CIC)
Passed the Class XII examination of any Board/ University examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with Mathematics as a subject. The applicant should have “passed” individually in each subject required (including practicals if any) for calculating merit and eligibility to the course they seek admission in.
The Marks requirement for different categories of candidates is – General/ EWS category : 60% in four subjects (including Mathematics), PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities)/ CW (Children/Widows of Personnel of the Armed Forces including Para-Military)/ SC/ST category : 57% in four subjects (including Mathematics). There is no minimum age bar. Those who have appeared in the Qualifying Examination may also apply.
Admission Procedure in Cluster Innovation Centre (CIC)
The University of Delhi invites On-Line Applications in the month of April/May every year. The candidates need to register && fill the Application On-Line only.
A Computer Based Test of MCQ’s of two hours duration based on Mathematics, Reasoning and Analytical Abilities (at 10+2 levels) is conducted at 30 centers located across India by the National Testing Agency. The admission is based on the merit list prepared on the basis of the marks secured in the Entrance Test (For details visit http://du.ac.in/du/index.php?page=ug-admission).
Duration
Four Academic years comprising of 8 Semesters.

  • M.Sc. Mathematics Education @ Meta University [Jointly offered by University of Delhi and Jamia Millia Islamia] Seats – 10 (DU) + 10 (JMI)
Eligibility in Cluster Innovation Centre (CIC)
Passed any bachelor’s degree from the University of Delhi or any other University recognized equivalent thereto, with at least two full-fledged papers in Mathematics at undergraduate level. There is no minimum age bar. The students appearing in the final year of Undergraduate Degree program can also apply and appear in the Entrance Test subject to the condition that they shall fulfil the eligibility criteria before the commencement of classes.

The University of Delhi invites On-Line Applications in the month of April/May every year. The candidates need to register & fill the Application On-Line only.
A Computer Based Test of MCQ’s of two hours duration based on Mathematical Skill (50%), Education/ Mathematics Education (30%), General English Language (5%), Reasoning/ Mental ability/ General Awareness (15%) is conducted at 30 centers located across India by the National Testing Agency. Fee Structure of Cluster Innovation Centre
The fee structure (as fixed for the year 2016-2017) for various courses offered by Cluster Innovation Centre is as follows:
  • The fee for M.Sc. (Mathematics Education) is Rs. 5,000/- per semester.

The M.Sc. (Mathematics Education) equips students to (i) Join School teaching profession if they have passed B.Ed. (ii) Take NET examination in Education stream and do Ph.D. or M.Phil. (iii) Aim to be a Curriculum Developer/Designer (iv) Aim to be an entrepreneur in Mathematics Education (v) Work in education related publishing industry in Mathematics Education.
