First Year of Engineering & Technology:
Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of C.B.S.E. or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ ST/ Widows or Wards of Defence Personnel/ PwD candidates) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. The candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination.
Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry):
Three years Diploma in any of these branches of Engineering/ Technology – Computer Engg., Automobile Engg., Chemical Engg., Civil Engg., Construction Engg., Electrical Engg., Electronics & Communication Engg., Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Mechanical Engg., Maintenance Engg., Plastic Engg., Printing & Publishing, Production Engg., Public Health & Environmental Engg., Tool & Die Making with 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ ST/ Widows or Wards of Defence Personnel/ PwD candidates) from Institute/ University/ Board recognized by AICTE. The candidates with Diploma in Architecture are not eligible. OR
B.Sc. with 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ ST/ Widows or Wards of Defence Personnel/ PwD candidates) in aggregate with Mathematics as a subject from any recognized University.

First Year of Engineering & Technology:
The admission is based on the merit/ rank in the JEE (Main) Paper 1 conducted by National Testing Agency (For details visit www.nta.ac.in or https://jeemain.nta.nic.in). The Centralized Counselling is conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi (For details visit http://ipu.ac.in).
85% seats are reserved for the residents of NCT of Delhi, while the remaining seats are filled on All India basis.
Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry):
The admission is based on the score in the CET for LE BTECH (DIPLOMA) and CET for LE BTECH (B.SC.) & Centralized Counselling conducted by GGSIPU, Delhi (For details visit http://ipu.ac.in).

Four Academic years comprising of 8 Semesters, Three Academic years comprising of 6 Semesters for lateral entry candidates.

For M.Tech. Information Security: B.E./ B.Tech. in Computer Science/ Computer Science & Engg./ Computer Engg./ Information Technology/ Electronics & Communication Engg./ Electronics & Instrumentation Engg./ Instrumentation & Control Engg./ Electrical Engg./ Electrical & Electronics Engg. or equivalent OR Grad. IETE/AMIE (ECE/CSE/IT/EE) OR M.Sc. in IT/ Electronics/ Computer Science/ Informatics/ Information Science & Technology/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Operation Research/ Applied Physics OR MCA or MCA (SE) with valid GATE score in CS or qualified in CET for M.TECH (CSG).
For M.Tech. Digital Communication/ Signal Processing/ Radio Frequency & Microwave Engineering: B.E./ B.Tech. in Computer Science/ Computer Science & Engg./ Computer Engg./ Information Technology/ Electronics & Communication Engg./ Electronics & Instrumentation Engg./ Instrumentation & Control Engg./ Electrical Engg./ Electrical & Electronics Engg. or equivalent OR Grad. IETE/AMIE (ECE/CSE/IT/EE) OR M.Sc. in IT/ Electronics/ Computer Science/ Informatics/ Information Science & Technology/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Operation Research/ Applied Physics) with valid GATE score in EC or qualified in CET for M.TECH (EG).
Note : The candidates belonging to General category should have scored 60% marks in the Qualifying examination, the SC/ ST/ Widows or Wards of Defence Personnel/ PwD candidates should have scored 55% marks in the Qualifying examination.

The admission to M.Tech. is based on the score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE conducted jointly by the IISc and all the IITs. The vacant seats, thereafter, are filled on the basis of marks secured in the CET for M.TECH conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. The Centralized Counselling for both the categories is conducted by GGSIPU, Delhi (For details visit http://ipu.ac.in).

Two Academic years comprising of 4 Semesters.

For Ph.D. in Electronics & Communication: M.Tech. in (ECE/ VLSI Design/ DC/ SP/ RF & Microwave) or equivalent with 60% marks/ 7 CGPA with valid GATE score in EC or qualified in CET for Ph.D. (E&C) or Valid Certificate of UGC JRF in Electronic Science.
For Ph.D. in Mechanical & Automation Engineering: M.Tech. in Production Engg./ Design Engg./ Thermal Engg./ Tool Engg./ Robotics & Automation Engg. or equivalent with 60% marks/ 7 CGPA with valid GATE score in ME or qualified in CET for Ph.D. (MA Engg).
For Ph.D. in Information Technology/ Computer Science & Engineering: M.Tech. (CSE/ Computer Systems/ IT/ IS) or equivalent with 60% marks/ 7 CGPA with valid GATE score in CS or qualified in CET for Ph.D. (IT/CS/CA) or Valid Certificate of UGC JRF in Computer Application.
For Ph.D. in Computer Application: MCA/MCA(SE) or equivalent three year degree after graduation with valid GATE score in CS or qualified in CET for Ph.D. (IT/CS/CA) or Valid Certificate of UGC JRF in Computer Application.

The admission to Ph.D. is based on the score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted jointly by the IISc and all the IITs/ UGC JRF conducted by National Testing Agency/ CET for Ph.D. conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi.
