This place is located at a distance of 42 Km from Udaipur City and 17 Km from town Nathdwara amidst hills of Aravalli ranges in District Rajsamand, Rajasthan.

It is famous all over the World for the bravery of Maharana Pratap. Here a narrow passage runs from South towards Northeast and ends in a plain where the historic battle of Haldighati was fought in 1576 A.D. between Maharana Pratap of Mewar and the forces of the Mughal Emperor Akbar being led by Raja Man Singh of Amber. Because of the Turmeric (known as Haldi in Hindi) like yellow color of the soil, it is known as Haldighati. The place has a bronze statue of Maharana Pratap riding his horse Chetak.
A Badshahi Baag is located nearby which is famous for Chaitri Gulab used to prepare Rose water and Gulkand (Jam of Rose petals).
