History:
The uniqueness of this Village is that its natives worship Ravan, the King of Lanka during the Ramayana period. Also this is the only place in Northern India where Ravan is worshiped.
While we know that Ravana was an ardent Shiv Bhakt and a Brahmin, it was his sheer arrogance, pride that only he could control his life, his childrens’ lives that led to his fall.
