This tank is also known as Jail Kund and is located towards the South of Rani Ji Ki Baori in Bundi City, District Bundi, Rajasthan.

History:

It was constructed during the reign of Rao Raja Ram Singh (the ruler of Bundi between 1821-1889 A.D.) by his Dhabai (Nanny’s son or Nurse’s son) to meet the demand of water in the area.

Architecture:

It is a large step well with geometrically placed steps. It has two cenotaphs on a 5 meters elevation.
