First Year of Engineering & Technology:
For Maharashtra State Candidates: The candidate should be an Indian National and Passed the HSC or its equivalent exam with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects with 50% marks in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology with 50% marks. OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by the UGC with 50% marks. These candidates should have qualified MHT-CET.
For J&K Migrant Candidates: Same as for M.S. Candidates. These candidates should have qualified MHT-CET/ JEE (Main) Paper-1.
Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry):
For M.S. Candidates: The candidate should be an Indian National and should have Passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology with 45% marks in appropriate Branch of Engineering & Technology from an AICTE or Central or State Govt. approved Institution. OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a UGC or AIU recognized University with 45% marks and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject, provided that students belonging to this category shall clear the subjects of Engg. Graphics/ Engg. Drawing & Engg. Mechanics of the first year Engineering Program along with second year subjects.
Note: The BC/ PwD applicants, belonging to Maharashtra State only, are given a relaxation of 5% of marks in the minimum eligibility requirement.

First Year of Engineering & Technology:
All the eligible candidates are required to apply to the Competent Authority for admission through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by DTE, Maharashtra (For details visit www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in).
The Maharashtra State Seats [State Level (SL) seats] & Supernumerary Seats under TFWS are filled through CAP on the basis of the score in MHT-CET conducted by State CET Cell, Govt. of Maharashtra (For details visit www.mahacet.org).
The Supernumerary Seats for J&K Migrant Candidates are filled through CAP on the basis of the score in MHT-CET/ JEE (Main) Paper 1 conducted by National Testing Agency (For details visit www.nta.ac.in or https://jeemain.nta.nic.in).
Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry):
All the eligible candidates are required to apply to the Competent Authority for admission through CAP conducted by DTE, Maharashtra. The admission is based on the marks secured in the qualifying exam (For details visit www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in).

Four Academic years comprising of 8 Semesters, Three Academic years comprising of 6 Semesters for lateral entry candidates.

For M.S. Candidates:
For Non-Sponsored Candidates: The candidate should be an Indian National and Passed Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant branch of Engineering & Technology from AICTE or Central or State Government approved Institutions or equivalent with 50% marks (45% marks for BC/ PwD applicants belonging to Maharashtra State only).
For Sponsored Candidates: Minimum of 2 years of full time work experience in a registered Firm/ Company/ Industry/ Educational and/or Research Institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.
For M.Tech. Construction Management/ Structural Engineering: Passed (or appeared in the final year exam) in B.E./ B.Tech. in Civil & Water Management Engg./ Civil Engg./ Construction Engg./ Energy & Environmental Engg./ Environmental Engg./ Environmental Science & Technology/ Structural Engg./ Town & Country Planning with valid GATE score in CE.
For M.Tech. Power Systems: Passed (or appeared in the final year exam) in B.E./ B.Tech. in Computer Hardware & Software/ IT/ Computer Science/ Computer Engg. or Technology/ Computer Science & Engg. or Technology/ Biomedical/ Biomedical Instrumentation/ Medical Electronics/ Process Electronics/ Bio Instrumentation/ Electrical & Electronics (Power System)/ Computer Telecommunication/ Electrical & Electronics Engg./ Electrical & Power Engg./ Electrical Engg. (Electrical & Power)/ Electrical Engg. (Electronics & Power)/ Electrical Engg./ Electronics & Power Engg./ Electronics & Communication Engg. or Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engg./ Electronics & Telecommunication Engg. (Technologynician Electronic Radio)/ Electronics Design Technology/ Electronics Product Design Technology/ Electronics Engg. or Technology/ Industrial Electronics/ Instrumentation & Control Engg./ Instrumentation Engg./ Power Electronics/ Telecommunication Engg. OR 5-yrs. Integrated M.Sc. in IT/ Computer Science/ Software Engg. (with 3-yrs. B.Sc. in IT related major) OR 2-yrs. M.Sc. in IT/ Computer Science OR MCA (10+2+3+3) years Pattern with valid GATE score in EE/EC/IN.
For M.Tech. Heat Power Engineering: Passed (or appeared in the final year exam) in B.E./ B.Tech. in Automotive Design/ Automobile Engg./ Industrial & Production Engg./ Industrial Engg./ Machine Tool Engg./ Manufacturing Engg./ Mechanical & Automation Engg./ Mechanical & Energy/ Mechanical Automation Engg./ Mechanical Engg./ Mechanical Engg. (Sandwich)/ Power Engg./ Production Engg./ Production Engg. (Sandwich) with valid GATE score in ME/PI.
For M.Tech. Production Engineering: Passed (or appeared in the final year exam) in B.E./ B.Tech. in Automotive Design/ Automobile Engg./ Industrial & Production Engg./ Industrial Engg./ Marine Engg./ Manufacturing Engg./ Material Science/ Mechanical & Automation Engg./ Mechanical & Energy/ Mechanical Automation Engg./ Mechanical Engg./ Mechanical Engg. (Sandwich)/ Metallurgical Engg./ Production Engg./ Production Engg. (Sandwich) with valid GATE score in XE/ME/MT/PI.
For M.Tech. Computer Science & Engineering: Passed (or appeared in the final year exam) in B.E./ B.Tech. in Computer Hardware & Software/ Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Computer Engg. or Technology/ Computer Science & Engg. or Technology/ Computer Telecommunication with valid GATE score in CS.
For M.Tech. Design Engineering: Passed (or appeared in the final year exam) in B.E./ B.Tech. in Machine Tool Engg./ Manufacturing Engg./ Mechanical & Automation Engg./ Mechanical & Energy/ Mechanical Automation Engg./ Mechanical Engg./ Mechanical Engg. (Sandwich) with valid GATE score in ME.

The admission is based on the score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted jointly by the IISc and all the IITs.
For Maharashtra State Seats [Non-Sponsored & Sponsored seats]: the GATE qualified & eligible candidates are required to fill up & submit Online Application form on the Website (www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in) & participate in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by DTE, Maharashtra (For details visit www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in).

Two Academic years comprising of 4 Semesters.

First Year of MCA:
For Maharashtra State Candidates/ J&K Migrant Candidates: The Candidate should be an Indian National and Passed Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 year duration awarded by any of the Universities recognized by UGC or AIU in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent (45% marks for BC/ PwD applicants belonging to Maharashtra State only). The candidate should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at (10+2) level or at Graduate level exam. These candidates should have qualified MAH-MCA-CET.
Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry):
For M.S. Candidates/ J&K Migrant Candidates: The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications or Science (Information Technology or Computer Science). These candidates should have qualified MAH-MCA-CET.

First Year of MCA:
All the eligible candidates are required to apply to the Competent Authority for admission through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by DTE, Maharashtra (For details visit www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in).
The Maharashtra State Seats [Home University (HU) seats, Other than Home University (OHU) seats] & Supernumerary Seats for J&K Migrant Candidates are filled through CAP on the basis of the score in the MAH-MCA-CET conducted by State CET Cell, Govt. of Maharashtra (For details visit www.mahacet.org).
