First Year of Engineering & Technology:
For Indian Students: Passed 10+2 exam with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST applicants) in the above subjects taken together. These candidates should have Good Scores in any one of the following entrance exams : SIT Engg. Entrance Exam (SIT EEE)/ JEE (Main) Paper 1/ Any State Govt. Engg. Entrance Exam.
For International Students (NRI/ PIO/ Foreign Nationals): Same as above. These candidates Do not have to appear for entrance exam (SIT EEE/ JEE (Main) Paper 1/ Any State Govt. Engg. Entrance Exam) in India. These candidates should fulfill International students’ eligibility as per SCIE norms (For details visit www.scie.ac.in).
For International Baccalaureate (IB)/ Cambridge Board (IGCSE) Students: (i) IB Board The candidate must have been awarded IB Diploma or the IB Diploma Course (i.e. IB Certificate) as a qualification for entry to the professional course at the Institute and is required to have passed the subjects of Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry at Higher Level (HL), with a minimum score of 24 credits. Students awarded the IB Diploma should also have completed other mandatory requirements (like CAS, TOK and the EE) towards the award of IB Diploma. These candidates should have Good Scores in any one of the following entrance exams : SIT Engg. Entrance Exam (SIT EEE)/ JEE (Main) Paper 1/ Any State Govt. Engg. Entrance Exam.
(ii) GCE/ IGCSE/ GCSE Examinations: A candidate intending to join professional course at the institute must have passed the examination of approved British Examination Bodies equivalent to Grade 12, with a minimum of 5 subjects including English. The candidate must have passed subjects of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry in Advanced Level (“A” Level) and English at a minimum of Ordinary Level (“O” Level). These candidates should have Good Scores in any one of the following entrance exams : SIT Engg. Entrance Exam (SIT EEE)/ JEE (Main) Paper 1/ Any State Govt. Engg. Entrance Exam.
Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry):
Passed Diploma Course/ Diploma in Vocational Course from any recognized Polytechnic College as per AICTE norms OR Passed Diploma in Vocational stream in the same or allied sector as per AICTE norms OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC (Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST applicants) and passed H.S.C. with Mathematics as a subject as per AICTE norms.

First Year of Engineering & Technology:
The admission is based on the merit/ rank in the SIT Engg. Entrance Exam (SIT EEE) conducted by Symbiosis International University (For details visit www.set-test.org)/ JEE (Main) Paper 1 conducted by National Testing Agency (For details visit www.nta.ac.in or https://jeemain.nta.nic.in)/ Any State Govt. Engg. Entrance Exam. The Counselling for admission is conducted by Symbiosis Institute of Technology in the month of June every year.
Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry):
The admission is based on the marks secured in the qualifying exam. The Counselling for admission is conducted by the Symbiosis Institute of Technology in the month of June every year for which the candidates have to register Online at : (https://ezapp.ishinfo.com/SITSYDA/Register).

Four Academic years comprising of 8 Semesters, Three Academic years comprising of 6 Semesters for lateral entry candidates.

For M.Tech. Computer Aided Design and Manufacture: Passed (or appeared in the final year exam) in B.E./ B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering/ Automobile Engineering/ Aeronautical Engineering/ Production Engineering/ Industrial Engineering or equivalent with 50% marks from any AICTE/MHRD approved College/ Institute/ University.
For M.Tech. Computer Science & Engineering: Passed (or appeared in the final year exam) in B.E./ B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering/ Information Technology OR MCA or equivalent with 50% marks from any AICTE/MHRD approved College/ Institute/ University.
For M.Tech. Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering: Passed (or appeared in the final year exam) in B.E./ B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering/ Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 50% marks from any AICTE/MHRD approved College/ Institute/ University.
For M.Tech. Geoinformatics & Surveying Technology: Passed (or appeared in the final year exam) in B.E./ B.Tech. in Civil Engineering or equivalent with 50% marks from any AICTE/MHRD approved College/ Institute/ University.

The admission is based on the score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted jointly by the IISc and all the IITs/ Entrance Exam conducted by the Symbiosis International University (For details visit www.set-test.org). The qualified candidates are required to register Online at : (https://siu.ishinfo.com/MTECH/Register/Index.aspx#).

Two Academic years comprising of 4 Semesters.

For admission, the Symbiosis International University gives an Advertisement in the Newspapers and/or uploads the information on the Website (www.siu.edu.in). An All India Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) is conducted by Symbiosis International University in the month of June every year (For details visit https://scri.siu.edu.in). The candidates with NET/ SET/ SLET/ GATE/ M.Phil. OR are UGC/ CSIR/ ICMR DBT/ RGNF/ MANF/ DST Inspire & NBHM Fellows, are exempted from the Entrance Test during the validity period of the Certificate/Award.
