First Year of Engineering & Technology:
For Indian Students: Passed 10+2 exam with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST applicants) in the above subjects taken together. These candidates should have Good Scores in any one of the following entrance exams : SIT Engg. Entrance Exam (SIT EEE)/ JEE (Main) Paper 1/ Any State Govt. Engg. Entrance Exam.
For International Students (NRI/ PIO/ Foreign Nationals): Same as above. These candidates Do not have to appear for entrance exam (SIT EEE/ JEE (Main) Paper 1/ Any State Govt. Engg. Entrance Exam) in India. These candidates should fulfill International students’ eligibility as per SCIE norms (For details visit www.scie.ac.in).
For International Baccalaureate (IB)/ Cambridge Board (IGCSE) Students: (i) IB Board The candidate must have been awarded IB Diploma or the IB Diploma Course (i.e. IB Certificate) as a qualification for entry to the professional course at the Institute and is required to have passed the subjects of Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry at Higher Level (HL), with a minimum score of 24 credits. Students awarded the IB Diploma should also have completed other mandatory requirements (like CAS, TOK and the EE) towards the award of IB Diploma. These candidates should have Good Scores in any one of the following entrance exams : SIT Engg. Entrance Exam (SIT EEE)/ JEE (Main) Paper 1/ Any State Govt. Engg. Entrance Exam.
(ii) GCE/ IGCSE/ GCSE Examinations: A candidate intending to join professional course at the institute must have passed the examination of approved British Examination Bodies equivalent to Grade 12, with a minimum of 5 subjects including English. The candidate must have passed subjects of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry in Advanced Level (“A” Level) and English at a minimum of Ordinary Level (“O” Level).
