It is one of the biggest and the most beautiful Mosques built in India. Its construction was started in 1246 A.D. by Nawab Amir Khan and it was completed in 1298 A.D. by Nawab Wzirudhoula, the son and successor of Nawab Amir Khan.

Architecture of the Mosque:

The main part of the Mosque is similar to the Mughal style monuments of Delhi and Agra. It has four huge minars which are visible from a long distance. Its four big doors have been built in the Mughal style of architecture. The walls of the Mosque are ornamented with golden paintings and enameling work.
