This Fort is located at a distance of 11 Km from Mount Abu City on the top of a hill in District Sirohi, Rajasthan.

The Fort has massive rampart walls. It encloses some beautiful ancient Jain Temples dedicated to Lord Shantinath (the 16th Jain Tirthankar), Lord Adinath (the 1st Jain Tirthankar) and Lord Kunthunath (the 17th Jain Tirthankar). The caves of Gopichand and Bhartrihari (the Great Naths), the Ashram of Maharishi Bhrigu (a Great Sage), the holy Mandakini Kund and the Tirthvijay Ashram are situated nearby. The Achaleshwar Mahadev Temple belonging to the 9th Century A.D. dedicated to Lord Shiva is also situated near this Fort.
