This holy place has been blessed by the visit of the Tenth Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji in 1706 A.D. Guru Ji came here while on his way from Sirsa (in Haryana State) to Takht Shri Hazoor Sahib, Naded (in Maharashtra State). He stayed here on the side of a historical pond.
