Location of the Wildlife Sanctuary:
This Wildlife Sanctuary is located at a distance of 25 Km from Chittorgarh City and 5 Km from Bassi Fort on the western fringes of the Vindhyachal ranges near Village Bassi, District Chittorgarh, Rajasthan.
History of the Wildlife Sanctuary:
It was established in the year 1988.
Attractions of the Wildlife Sanctuary:
It is spread over an area of 50 Sq. Km. It has a series of table lands, gentle slopes and lakes, thus providing an opportunity for viewing animals by boat and angling. It is habitat to Panther, Wild boar, Antelopes, Deers, Mongoose and Migratory birds. However, the prior permission has to be obtained from the District Forest Officer, Chittorgarh to visit it.
