The candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std. XII) exam of any State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent exam with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject AND Secured 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST applicants) in the subjects Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject added together AND Obtained All India Rank in the JEE (Main) Paper 1.
The eligibility of the candidates, who are Indian Nationals & are passing the HSC (Std. XII) or equivalent exam from a School/College/exam Board situated outside India, is decided by the RTM Nagpur University Authorities. Such candidates should get their eligibility verified by the University Authorities before seeking admission to the B.E. (Fire Engineering) Course.
Physical Standard for Male candidates: Minimum Height : 165 cms. Only (Relaxable by 5 cms in the case of Garhwalls, Assamese Gorkha and member of the Schedule tribes). Chest : 81 cms. Only Unexpanded and 86 cms. Only and Expanded (Fully expanded with minimum of 5 cms. Only Expansion) Weight : min. 50 Kgs.
Physical Standard for Female candidates: Minimum Height : 157 cms. (Relaxable by 2.5 cms in the case of Garhwalls, Assamese Gorkha and member of the Scheduled tribes). Weight : 46 kgs.
Medical Standard Both for Male and Female candidates: (i) Visual : better eye – 6/6 without aid (Eligible vision – 6/6 only) Worse eye – 6/12. (ii) Colour Vision :- No colour blindness. (iii) The candidate must not have knock-knee, flat foot, squint eyes and stammering. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect.

All the eligible candidates are required to fill the Online Application Form which is made available on the NFSC Website (www.nfscnagpur.nic.in). The candidates are short-listed based on the merit/ rank in the JEE (Main) Paper 1 conducted by National Testing Agency (For details visit www.nta.ac.in or https://jeemain.nta.nic.in). The Merit list is displayed on the College Website and the candidates are called for the Medical Verification by the Board constituted by National Fire Service College Nagpur. The admission offered by NFSC is subject to clearance by Nagpur University.

Four Academic years comprising of 8 Semesters.
