The National Institute of Technology Agartala was established in the year 1965 as Tripura Engineering College. In the year 2006, it was upgraded to the status of an NIT and was bestowed with the status of a ‘Deemed University’ by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It has been recognized as an Institute of National Importance vide the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007.

  • The fee for MBA course is in National Institute of Technology Agartala Rs. 40,700/- per student for 1st semester, Rs. 29,500/- for 2nd & 4th semesters and Rs. 30,500/- for 3rd semester.
  • The fee for MCA course is Rs. 50,700/- per student for 1st semester, Rs. 38,500/- for 2nd, 4th & any other semesters and Rs. 39,500/- for 3rd, 5th & 6th semesters.
  • The fee for Ph.D. course in National Institute of Technology Agartala is Rs. 17,700/- per student for 1st semester, Rs. 10,500/- for 2nd, 4th & any other semesters and Rs. 11,500/- for 3rd, 5th & 6th semesters.
  • The charges for availing Hostel facilities are Rs. 23,000/- per student for 1st semester and Rs. 18,000/- for the following semesters for all the Programs.
