Location of Govardhan Sagar Lake:
This beautiful lake is located at a distance of 10 Km Southwest of Udaipur City towards the Southeast of Lake Pichhola in District Udaipur, Rajasthan.
Architecture of the Lake:
It receives water from Lake Pichola through a link canal. It has a gross catchment area of 814 hectares and has gross capacity of 0.255 million cubic meters. The safari-style heritage hotel named Shikarbadi which used to the hunting lodge of the Maharanas of Mewar (managed by the HRH Group of Hotels) is located on its western shore.
