Location of Classic Car Museum:
This Museum is located at a distance of 2 Km from City Palace near Gulab Bagh, within the boundaries of the Garden Hotel in Udaipur City, District Udaipur, Rajasthan.
Attractions of Classic Car Museum:
It was inaugurated in February 2000 and has a collection of more than 20 Vintage and Classic Cars which were once used by the Maharajas of Udaipur. Vintage cars like Cadillac, Chevrolet, Morris, rare Mercedes models, 1936 Vauxhall and 1937 Opel models look splendid and are still in perfect running condition. The most prized possession of the Museum are a 1934 Rolls Royce Phantom II which made its appearance in the James Bond movie, Octopussy, filmed in the city many years ago and a 1939 Cadillac convertible which was used by Jackie Kennedy during her visit to Udaipur.
Visiting Hours in the Museum:
The Museum remains open on all days from 9.30 A.M. to 5.30 P.M. An entry fee of Rs. 100 per person is charged.
