History:
According to local history, one Kayasth lover used to sit here and always sang love songs. On account of this romance (known as Rasiya in Hindi), this monument has been given the name Rasiya Ki Tekri. It was renovated in the year 1859 A.D. by Shri Ambaji Maharaj, a scholar known for composing love songs and a Governor of this place appointed by Raja Holkar.
