This ancient Temple is situated at a distance of 45 Km from Aburoad Railway Station, 3 Km from Reodar town and 5 Km from Village Jirawal on a small hill near Village Varman, District Sirohi, Rajasthan.
History of the Temple:
This Temple is dedicated to Lord Mahavir Ji, the 24th Tirthankar of Jains. It is believed to be more than 800 years old. It was established in the year 1185 A.D.
Architecture of the Temple:
The Temple has 140 cm high idol of Lord Mahavir Ji which is white coloured and is seated in Padmasana. The Temple also has statues of Lord Parshavnath in Karyotsarga posture (body-abandonment posture), Devi Ambika and Devi Padmavati. The Temple is white in colour and has a Dharamshala and a Bhojanshala facilities for visiting devotees.
