Location of the Temple:
This ancient Temple is situated at a distance of 28 Km from Sirohi City and 2 Km from Village Ajari which is located at a distance of 5 Km South of Pindwara town on the way to Aburoad town in District Sirohi, Rajasthan.
History & Architecture of the Temple:
This Temple is dedicated to Lord Mahadev and Goddess Saraswati. It is surrounded by a high wall. It has a 30′ x 20′ size Kundi inside, where Maharishi Markandeshwar Ji is said to have meditated. Small images of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Saraswati are installed here. A pond named Gaya Kund is located nearby where the people immerse mortal remains. Outside the Temple are Date trees, a small rivulet and small hillocks presenting a picturesque scenery.
It is said that Shri Hemchandracharya did meditation of Goddess Saraswati at this place and Mata blessed him by appearing in person.
