Location of the Temple:

This ancient Temple is also known as Amba Mata Mandir. It is situated in the midst of a rocky hill at a distance of 3 Km from Rajsamand Bus Stand at Nau Chowki, District Rajsamand, Rajasthan.

History of the Temple:

This Temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga. It was built in the 16th Century A.D.

Architecture of the Temple:

The Temple has been built in the Indo-Persian style of architecture and stone, rubble and lime plaster have been used in its construction. The outer and inner walls are simple with no decoration. The Sanctum Sanctorum has the idol of Goddess Durga, while the idols of Shiva Lingam and of other deities are installed in other part of the Temple. An idol of Nandi in standing posture is installed outside the Temple facing the shrine.
