Location of the Reservoir:

This irrigation project is located at a distance of 35 Km from Pratapgarh City in Village Anuppura, District Pratapgarh, Rajasthan.

History of the Reservoir:

It is constructed on river Jakham, a tributary of river Mahi and was completed in the year 1986 to provide water to the tribal people.

Architecture of the Reservoir:

The length of this Dam is 253 meters, out of which the spillway is 90 meters in length. The area near the dam is hilly and consists of waste land. A pickup weir at Nagalia, which is 13 Km away from the dam is constructed from which main canal emerges.
