History & Architecture of the Temple:
This Temple is dedicated to Lord Mahavir, the 24th Tirthankar of Jains. It is said that this Tirath belongs to the times of Lord Mahavir Swami. The inscriptions in the Temple indicate that this was a prosperous City for Centuries. The idol of the life time of Bhagawan Mahavir Swami was perhaps changed. The present artistic idol of Lord Mahavir Ji is white colored, 1.2 m in height, bears an inscription of the year 1448 A.D. and is seated in Padmasana posture. The arched gate has impressive architecture. The Temple provides the facilities of a Dharmshala and Bhojanshala.
