Location of the Temple:

This ancient Temple is situated at a distance of 14 Km from Sadri town on the top of one of the hills of the Aravalli ranges of mountains in Tehsil Desuri, District Pali, Rajasthan.

History Architecture of the Temple:

This Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

It is situated inside a cave which is said to have been made by Lord Parshuram (the 6th incarnation of Lord Vishnu) by his Parshu (the axe). He used to worship Lord Shiva at this place. The cave has naturally made idols of Lord Ganesha and Lord Shiva (in Linga form) and also nine water Kunds which never go dry. One needs to cover a distance of 2 Km through a hilly narrow path to reach the top of the hillock and further a flight of 400 narrow steps is there to reach the Cave Temple.

On the 6th and 7th days of Shravan Shukla (in the month of August/September), a huge Fair is organised here.
