This reservoir is located in Mount Abu, District Sirohi, Rajasthan.
History:
It was built in 1897 A. D. by Maharao Kesari Singhji Bahadur of Sirohi as a memorial to his friend Col. G. H. Trevor, who was the agent to the Governor General of India. It was built by him for the pleasure of the rulers of those days and for their esteemed guests and also to indulge in the thrills of wild life. Here a great care is taken of the animals especially of the Sloth Bear and the Leopard.

It is one of the best places to spot animals, along with Salim Ali Point, where the great Ornithologist spent hours watching birds and writing his masterpiece ‘Birds of Aravallies’. There are several other fascinating spots like the Eco-tourism Site near Gaumukh Hanumanji where one could pitch tents and live with the innocence of the wild, under the starry canopy, with all the fantasies of ‘the Alice in Wonder Land’. The villages of Utroj and Sher Gaon are other exciting destinations.
