Attractions for Eco Tourism in Mount Abu:

The District Administration of Sirohi and the forest department have constructed many Anicuts (the WHS) all over the hills and also created the much needed facility of Eco-tourism in Mount Abu, District Sirohi, Rajasthan.

The Four Eco-tourism sites that have been developed are:

  • One is in Aarna village. It is an exciting place having a “Hut on a Mango tree” called “The Tarzan Hut” and one more hut on the ground level for those who cannot climb. It is extremely beautiful and filled with excitement. One could stay there on the tree top at a nominal price and sit there whole night to be blessed with the sight of wild animals.
  • The other is off Gaumukh Hanumanji Road. It is more of a camping site with a difference. It has one log hut on a tree and few platforms for pitching of tents. The Kitchen facility and place for other physical activities are also available. It indeed is in the lap of mother nature, away from the hustle-bustle of even Mount Abu City.
  • The Sun Rise point at Kapoor Sagar at Achalgarh Fort area.
  • The Mogli Land. It is located at a distance of 800 meters from Arana Village. It has remains of nearly one thousand years old. It is believed that the site must have been used as a midway resting place by the travellers of those days.
