There is an Adharshila, a delicately balanced big boulder which has been worshiped from Centuries. It is said that this ‘Adhar’ is the lip (lip is called Adhar in Sanskrit) of Devi Sati, the Wife of Lord Shiva, who immolated herself in the Yajna of her Father Daksha Prajapati when she could not hear the insulting words against her husband. Lord Shiva carried the dead body of his wife and started the ‘Tandava’ (the dance of destruction) in anger. Then, Lord Vishnu cut the dead body of Devi Sati into pieces with his Sudarshan Chakra to protect the whole World from certain destruction. The Lip of Devi Sati fell here and got converted into Adharshila.
