Location of Temple Shri Gangshyam Ji:

This Temple is situated at a distance of 2 Km from Jodhpur Railway Station in Mandi area of Jodhpur City, District Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

History of Temple Shri Gangshyam Ji:

This Temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna.

It was built in 1761 A.D. by Maharaja Vinay Singh to install the idol of Lord Krishna which was brought by queen of Jeetpur from Sirohi to Jodhpur after her marriage.

Architecture of the Temple:

The architecture of this Temple resembles to that of the Sun Temples. It is built of Makrana marble and sand stone of Chittor. It is famous for its beauty and grandeur. Its walls are adorned with carvings and engravings of scenes and pictures and mosaic work.

Visiting Hours in the Temple:

The Temple remains open on all days from 4.45 A.M. to 12.30 P.M. and 5.30 P.M. to 11.00 P.M.
