This Temple is situated at a distance of 5 Km from Jodhpur Railway Station at Mehrangarh, District Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

History & Architecture of the Temple:

This Temple is dedicated to Goddess Chamunda Ji.

It was built in 1460 A.D. by Rao Jodha Ji when he relinquished his State and rule of Mandore in favour of Bhate Rao. He shifted the idol of Goddess Chamunda Ji from Mandore to Mehrangarh and built the Temple to install it. The black stone idol of Chamunda Ji is installed in the Sanctum Sanctorum. The idols of Kalika Ji and Bech Rai Ji are also installed here.

Visiting Hours in the Temple:

The Temple remains open on all days from 5.00 A.M. to 10.00 P.M.
