This Museum is located in Umed Garden, a Public Park in Jodhpur City, District Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

History of the Museum:

It was established in 1909 A.D. and was formally opened to the public in 1936 A.D. It has been named after Maharaja Sardar Singh (1895-1911 A.D.) of Jodhpur.

Attractions of the Museum:

It has been divided into 4 Sections – the archaeological section, the armory section, the art and craft section and the historical section. It has a rich collection of Weapons, Textiles, Miniature Portraits, Local Crafts and images of Jain Tirthankars. Its entire collection comprises of 397 Stone Sculptures, 10 inscriptions, 1951 Miniature Paintings, 12 Terracotta, 32 Metallic Objects, 178 Arms, 111703 Coins and 4107 Miscellaneous items.
