This Fort is located at a distance of 85 Km East of Jodhpur City, District Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
History of Fort Khejarla:
It was built in 1611 A.D. for Thakur Gopal Das Ji who was granted fiefdom of Khejarla for bravely defending the frontiers of Marwar against the Mughals.
Architecture of the Fort:
It is built on the top of granite boulders and is made of red sandstone in the typical Rajput style of architecture. Its exteriors are rugged, but the interiors are beautifully adorned with magnificent art work. It has beautiful lattice work and intricate Jharokas.
Visiting Hours in the Fort:
It has now been converted into a Heritage Hotel.
