This is a beautiful wooden cottage located on the Jhalawar-Kota Road on the banks of Kishan Sagar Lake at a distance of 6 Km from Jhalawar City, District Jhalawar, Rajasthan.
History:
It was originally constructed by the Forest Research Institute of Dehradun and was brought by Maharaja Rajendra Singh from an exhibition held in Lucknow. The total expenditure of transportation and resettling of the cottage was Rs. 50,000 only at that time. Although, it was transported the, it still retains much of it’s original design and is a favourite picnic spot now.
