Location of the Fort:
This Fort is also known as Garh Palace. It is located at the Centre of the Jhalawar City, District Jhalawar, Rajasthan.
History & Architecture of the Fort:
It was built by Maharaj Rana Madan Singh during 1840-1845 A.D. His successors later on added beautiful paintings inside the rooms. The Zanana Khas has some splendid frescoes on both the walls and the mirrors. These frescoes are the excellent examples of the Hadoti School of art.
Visiting Hours in the Fort:
Now this beautiful monument houses the Collectorate and other Government Offices. The prior permission is required from the appropriate authorities to see the paintings and other parts of the Fort.
