This impressive Fort is located at a distance of 140 Km from Jhalawar City in town Gangadhar, District Jhalawar, Rajasthan.

The village of Gangdhar is situated on the bank of the River Kali Sindh. The fort cannot be visited, but can only be appreciated from the bridge over the river, and you can get up close with your binoculars or your telephoto lenses. There is a temple inside the fort, which for temple devotees is probably the reason for a visit. An accumulation of soil had made access easier over the years with a straightforward gate without any protection but the jungle has taken over again, and the visitor is unable to access the walls and corner towers at any point. In the past, probably the gate was originally approached by a ramp which would have denied a straight run at the gate by elephant or battering ram.
