History & Architecture:

It was built in 1921 A.D. by Maharaja Bhawani Singh for the performance of plays and cultural programs. It was a popular Parsi theatre in the State times and has been recently renovated. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that its deep stage with its underground construction allows the horses and even the chariots to appear on stage. It is believed to be one of the eight such theatres in the World.
