This Temple is situated at a distance of 120 Km from Hanumangarh City and 2 Km from Gogamedi Railway Station in Village Gogamedi of Tehsil Nohar, District Hanumangarh, Rajasthan.
History of Temple Shri Goga Ji:
This Temple is dedicated to Shri Goga Ji also known as Gugga Jahar Peer. He was born about 900 years ago in Chouhan Rajput dynasty of Village Dadrewa of District Churu. He was a warrior known to possess supernatural powers. He became a Nath and a disciple of Shri Gorakh Nath Ji.
The Temple was built about 950 years ago and was renovated in the year 1911 by Maharaj Shri Ganga Singh of Bikaner.
Architecture of Temple Shri Goga Ji:
It is located on a high mound and is built of lime mortar, stone and black and white marble. Its design is a fine blend of Hindu and Muslim style of architecture. An engraved statue of Shri Goga Ji is installed inside the Shrine. It is in the form of a warrior riding a horse, with a lance in hand and a snake around neck. The people of all castes and communities pay homage here.
