This Temple is situated at a distance of 3 km from Gogamedi Railway Station at Shri Gorakhnath Teela in Village Gorkhana of Tehsil Nohar, District Hanumangarh, Rajasthan.

History of Temple Dhuna Shri Gorakh Nath Ji:

It is dedicated to Shri Bhairu Ji, Goddess Kali, Lord Shiva and his family and Dhuna of Shri Gorakh Nath Ji.

Shri Gorakh Nath Ji was an accomplished Yogi (a disciple of Matsyendra Nath) and was the foremost of the nine Siddhas of Nath Cult. This place was the site of asceticism of Shri Gorakh Nath Ji where his Dhuna (the fire place) is still present. It was at this place that Shri Goga Ji met Shri Gorakh Nath Ji and became his principal disciple.

Architecture of Temple Dhuna Shri Gorakh Nath Ji:

The Temple is built of lime mortar, bricks and cement. It has a stone image of Goddess Kali in standing posture, about 3 feet in height. The idol of Shri Bhairu Ji is of same height and is made of black stone. The idols of Shiva family are installed nearby. The Samadhis of many Yogis are located nearby. The Dhuna of Guru Gorakh Nath Ji is located on a mound.

The Temple remains open on all days from 5.00 A.M. to 10.00 P.M.
