Location:
These ravines also known as Chambal Ke Beehad start from Saramthura, cover a distance of 113 Km and go upto Rajkhera in the East.
History & Attractions:
The three factors have contributed to the formation of ravines in the area. This area lies close to River Chambal. It does not have a strong upper layer of soil and also is devoid of any vegetation needed to bind the soil together. During Monsoons, heavy flow of water has resulted in soil erosion, thus forming drains and creating cracks. The cracks further widened up and the ravines were formed. This area is full of valleys, some having a depth of hundreds of feet. The Aravalli mountain ranges, one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world are located at a distance of few Kilometers.
