Location of the Temple:

This Temple is situated at a distance of 58 Km from Bhilwara City on Jahajpur-Devli Road in town Shahpura, District Bhilwara, Rajasthan.

History of the Temple:

This Temple is dedicated to Lord Rama. It was built in 1798 A.D. by Shri Ramcharan Mahaprabhu.

Architecture of the Temple:

It has been built of stone, lime, mortar and marble. The ground floor has the Sanctum Sanctorum, the Suraj Pol, arches and a huge 12 door hall made in marble having 108 pillars. The upper floor has the Chhatra Mahal (the canopy palace), the palace of the head priest and other canopies.

This Temple belongs to the Rama Snehi Cult and does not have any idol. The worshipers here meditate the name of Lord Rama. It is believed that the sacred word Rama is the only basis for redemption in kaliyuga and the chanting of this holy name removes all the sins and impurities that cover up the pristive pure glory of the soul.

Visiting Hours in the Temple:

The Temple remains open on all days from 5.00 A.M. to 10.00 P.M. An annual fair known as ‘Phool Dol Ka Mela’ is held here on Phagun Shukla 15 (March-April) for five days. It is also famous for ‘Phad Paintings’.
