This artificial lake also known as Bai Talab is located on Banswara-Ratlam Road at a distance of 3 Km East of Banswara City, District Banswara, Rajasthan.
History of the Lake:
It was constructed by Lachhi Bai of Idar, the queen of Maharawal Jagaml.
Architecture of the Lake:
A holy tree known as ‘Kalpa Vriksha’ believed to fulfill the wishes of the visitors is located nearby. The Chhatris (the cenotaphs) of the erstwhile rulers of Banswara are also located nearby.
