Location of the Palace:

This Palace is located at a distance of 21 Km from Alwar City at the edge of the Sariska National Park in District Alwar, Rajasthan.

History of the Palace:

It was designed by a French architect in 1892 A.D. and was built between 1892-1900 A.D. by Maharaja Jai Singh (1892-1937 A.D.) of Alwar State to commemorate the visit of Queen Victoria ‘s son, the duke of Connaught. It was used by the erstwhile rulers of Alwar as a hunting lodge.

Architecture of the Palace:

It is built in 100 acres of land and is surrounded by huge lush green lawns.

Visiting Hours in the Palace :

It has now been converted into a Hotel and is being managed by the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation.
