This cenotaph is located outside the City Palace in Alwar City, District Alwar, Rajasthan.

History:

This magnificent Chhatri was built by Maharaja Vinay Singh (1815-1857 A.D.) in the memory of Moosi Rani, the wife of Maharaja Bakhtawar Singh who had committed sati (self immolation).

Architecture:

It is a double storied structure which stands on a platform of pillared red sandstone. The upper storey is made in marble having beautiful arches and rounded roofs. The interiors are ornamented with exquisite carvings. It looks very beautiful against the backdrop of the Aravalli hills.
