First Year of Engineering & Technology:
For Maharashtra State Candidates: The candidate should be an Indian National and Passed the HSC or its equivalent exam with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects with 45% marks in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology with 45% marks. OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by the UGC with 50% marks OR Passed IB (International Baccalaureate) Diploma with a minimum score of 24 Credits. These candidates should have qualified MHT-CET.
For All India Candidates: Same as for M.S. Candidates. These candidates should have qualified MHT-CET/ PERA CET/ JEE (Main) Paper-1.
Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry):
For M.S. Candidates/ All India Candidates: The candidate should be an Indian National and should have Passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology with 45% marks in appropriate Branch of Engineering & Technology from an AICTE or Central or State Govt. approved Institution. OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a UGC or AIU recognized University with 45% marks and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject, provided that students belonging to this category shall clear the subjects of Engg. Graphics/ Engg. Drawing & Engg. Mechanics of the first year Engineering Program along with second year subjects.
Note: The BC/ PwD applicants, belonging to Maharashtra State only, are given a relaxation of 5% of marks in the minimum eligibility requirement.
