Location of Temple Shri Bala Ji:

This Temple is situated at a distance of 10 Km from Kota Railway Station at Rangbari, District Kota, Rajasthan.

History of Temple Shri Bala Ji:

It is dedicated to Lord Hanuman Ji.

It is said that Rao Jagat Singh visited Rangbari with his queens. One of his queens fell seriously ill and was cured by a Sadhu who lived here, with his Tantrik powers. Then Rao Jagat Singh, following the instructions of the Sadhu, built the Temple between 1648-1683 A.D.

Architecture of Temple Shri Bala Ji:

The Temple is built of stone and lime mortar in Nagar style of architecture and has a magnificent main gateway. It is square-shaped with round-shaped dome having a lotus flower with eight petals at the top of it. The pinnacle has gold polished Kalash of copper. The Sanctum Sanctorum is square shaped with four pillars in the four corners and every pillar is adorned with carving work of floral patterns. It has the south-facing stone idol of Lord Bala Ji installed on a square platform. The Temple complex also has a Sheetla Mata Temple, a tomb of the Sadhu, a holy water kund and a well maintained garden.

The Temple remains open on all days from 7.00 A.M. to 9.00 P.M.
