The Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University College of Engineering is an Un-Aided, Co-Educational, Non-Autonomous, Private, Non-Minority Institute; Set up by Bharati Vidyapeeth Trust in the year 1983. This is the only Institute selected by MHRD for its Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP-II – 1.1 Programme) for the grant of Rs. 4 Crores.

Eligibility in Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University College of Engineering
First Year of Engineering & Technology:
Passed the Higher Secondary Certificate exam (HSC) or the Indian School Certificate exam (ISC) or any other exam equivalent to 10+2 or HSC exam of any recognized Board/ University from any School/College located in India with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following optional subject : Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Biology with 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST applicants) in the above subjects taken together.
Note: The candidates who are likely to appear or who have appeared for the qualifying exam may apply, however, they should produce mark-sheet of HSC at the time of counselling.
Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry):
Passed Diploma exam from an AICTE approved Institution with 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST applicants) in appropriate branch or Engineering/ Technology. OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with 45% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject, provided that students belonging to this category shall clear the subjects of Engg. Graphics/ Engg. Drawing & Engg. Mechanics of the first year Engineering Program along with second year subjects.
Note: These candidates are also eligible for admission to the first year Engineering Degree courses subject to vacancies in the first year class in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

The admission is based on the score in the All India Common Entrance Test CET (Engineering) conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University at exam Centers located all over India in the month of May every year. The Counselling for admission is conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University in the month of June (For details visit www.bvucoepune.edu.in).

For Non-Sponsored Candidates:
Passed Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant branch of Engineering & Technology from an AICTE approved Institution with 50% marks (45% marks for candidates belonging to reserved category). The candidates who are likely to appear or who have appeared for the qualifying exam in the relevant branch may apply, however, their admissions are confirmed subject to the final year result.
For Sponsored Candidates:
Minimum of 2 years of full time work experience in a registered Firm/ Company/ Industry/ Educational and/or Research Institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Bodies or Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought. A letter from employer must be furnished stating that the candidate is being sponsored to the course. The employer should also mention that the candidate will not be withdrawn before the completion of the course and he/she will be available full time in the college for completion of the course. Letter to this effect from the employer should be brought at the time of Counselling.
For M.Tech. Chemical Engineering: B.E./ B.Tech. in Chemical Engg. or its equivalent from an AICTE approved Institution or AMIE (Chemical Engineering) with valid GATE score.
For M.Tech. Computer Engineering/ Information Technology: B.E./ B.Tech. in Computer Engg./ Information Technology or its equivalent from an AICTE approved Institution or AMIE (Computer Engineering) with valid GATE score.
For M.Tech. Electrical Engineering: B.E./ B.Tech. in Electrical Engg. or its equivalent from an AICTE approved Institution or candidate should possess AMIE in the respective branch with valid GATE score.
For M.Tech. Electronics Engineering: B.E./ B.Tech. in Electronics Engg./ Electronics & Telecommunications Engg./ Industrial Electronics or its equivalent from an AICTE approved Institution or candidate should possess AMIE in the respective branch with valid GATE score.
