First Year of Engineering & Technology:
For Maharashtra State & Outside Maharashtra State Candidates: Passed the Standard XII exam or its equivalent exam with English, Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects and obtained 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category applicants belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the PCM Group. The candidates who have opted for Technical/ Bifocal/ Vocational subject instead of Chemistry are also eligible to apply.
For International Baccalaureate (IB) Board: The candidate must have been awarded IB Diploma or the IB Diploma course (i.e. IB Certificate) as a qualification for entry to the professional course at the Institute and is required to have passed the subjects of Physics & Mathematics at Ligher Level with a minimum score of 24 credits. For admission to Chemical Engg./ Petroleum Engg./ Polymer Engg., students must have passed Chemistry also at Higher Level. Students awarded the IB Diploma should also have completed other mandatory requirements (like CAS, TOK and the EE) towards the award of IB Diploma.
Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry):
For M.S. & OMS Candidates: The candidate should be an Indian National and should have Passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology with 45% marks in appropriate Branch of Engineering & Technology from an AICTE or Central or State Govt. approved Institution. OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a UGC or AIU recognized University with 45% marks and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject, provided that students belonging to this category shall clear the subjects of Engg. Graphics/ Engg. Drawing & Engg. Mechanics of the first year Engineering Program along with second year subjects.

First Year of Engineering & Technology:
All the candidates are required to register & fill the Application form On-line only on Faculty of Engineering and Technology MIT WPU Website (https://mitwpu.edu.in/engineering).
The admission is based on the score in MHT-CET conducted by State CET Cell, Govt. of Maharashtra (For details visit ww.mahacet.org)/ JEE (Main) Paper 1 conducted by National Testing Agency (For details visit www.nta.ac.in or https://jeemain.nta.nic.in)/ PERA CET conducted by Preeminent Education & Research Association (For details visit www.peraindia.in).
Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry):
All the candidates are required to register & fill the Application form On-line only on Faculty of Engineering and Technology MIT WPU Website (https://mitwpu.edu.in/engineering). The admission is based on the marks secured in the qualifying exam.

Four Academic years comprising of 8 Semesters, Three Academic years comprising of 6 Semesters for lateral entry candidates.

For Maharashtra State & Outside Maharashtra State Candidates:
For Non-Sponsored Candidates: Passed Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant branch of Engineering & Technology from AICTE or Central or State Government approved Institutions or equivalent with 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category applicants belonging to Maharashtra State only).
For Sponsored Candidates: Minimum of 2 years of full time work experience in a registered Firm/ Company/ Industry/ Educational and/or Research Institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.
For M.Tech. Civil Engineering (Construction Engineering & Management/ Structural Engineering/ Tunnel Engineering): Passed (or appeared in the final year exam) in B.E./ B.Tech. in Civil Engg./ Construction Engg./ Structural Engg. or equivalent.
For M.Tech. CSE (Data Science & Analytics/ High Performance Computing/ Network Management & Cyber Security): Passed (or appeared in the final year exam) in B.E./ B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engg./ Computer Engg./ IT/ Computer Technology/ Computer Science & Technology/ Computer Networking/ Computer Science & System Engg./ Computer & Communication Engg. or equivalent.
For M.Tech. ECE (Communication Networks & Software/ VLSI & Embedded Systems): Passed (or appeared in the final year exam) in B.E./ B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engg./ Computer Engg./ Computer Technology/ Computer Science & Technology/ Electronics & Communication Engg./ Electronics & Telecommunication Engg./ Electronics Engg./ Electronics & Communication Technology/ Instrumentation & Control Engg./ Instrumentation Engg./ Industrial Electronics/ Electrical Engg./ Bio-Medical Engg. or equivalent.
For M.Tech. Mechanical Engineering (Design Engineering/ Thermal Engineering/ CAD/CAM/CAE): Passed (or appeared in the final year exam) in B.E./ B.Tech. in Automobile Engg./ Production Engg./ Mechanical Engg./ Mechanical Engg. (Sandwich)/ Production Engg. (Sandwich)/ Sugar Engg./ Metallurgy Engg. or equivalent.
For M.Tech. Petroleum Engineering/ Polymer Engineering: Passed (or appeared in the final year exam) in B.E./ B.Tech. in Petroleum Engg./ Petrochemical Engg./ Polymer Engg./ Chemical Engg./ Mechanical Engg./ Production & Instrumentation Engg./ Marine Engg. OR M.Sc. in Physics/ Chemistry/ Geology or equivalent with valid GATE score in Engineering Science.

All the candidates are required to register & fill the Application form On-line only on Faculty of Engineering and Technology MIT WPU Website (https://mitwpu.edu.in/engineering).
The admission is based on the score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted jointly by the IISc and all the IITs. The seats remaining vacant, thereafter, are filled on the basis of marks secured in the PERA CET conducted by Preeminent Education & Research Association (For details visit www.peraindia.in)/ Written Test followed by Interview conducted by Faculty of Engineering and Technology MIT WPU on the date of admission.
