This Temple has an interesting story attached to it. It is said that once the lives of some thieves were under threat. They prayed to Mother Goddess with total devotion, from the depth of their heart. The Goddess appeared to rescue them. So this Temple was constructed and the thieves vowed never to commit robbery again. Hence this Temple proves the fact that the Mother Goddess is very kind hearted and She even ignores the sins of the devotees, when remembered with pure heart.
