Location of Chaurasi Khambon Ki Chhatri:

This 84 Pillared Cenotaph is located South of Bundi City on Kota Road in front of Government College within the boundaries of Ranjit Niwas Complex in District Bundi, Rajasthan.

History:

It was got built in 1683 A.D. by Rao Raja Anirudhav Singh (1681-1695 A.D.) in the memory of his foster brother Deva Gujjar.

Architecture:

This two storeyed Cenotaph has 84 pillars and has paintings of various birds and animals, Gods and Goddesses etc. incurved on stones on all the sides of the platform. The ceilings on both the floors are adorned with paintings of Rajput battles, fish symbols and figurines of dancers and musicians. It has a large peeled- orange-shaped dome resting on 16 pillars and four small domes, with each dome resting on 4 pillars. It is a wonderful piece of architecture and stone sculpture. It has a beautiful garden also.
