First Year of Engineering & Technology:
For Maharashtra State Candidates: The candidate should be an Indian National and Passed the HSC or its equivalent exam with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects with 50% marks in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology with 50% marks. OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by the UGC with 50% marks. These candidates should have qualified MHT-CET.
For All India Candidates/ J&K Migrant Candidates: Same as for M.S. Candidates. These candidates should have qualified MHT-CET/ JEE (Main) Paper-1.
For B.Tech. Biotechnology: XII Std. (Science) passed in 10+2 pattern from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent Exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology OR Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology OR Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. The candidates who have passed qualifying exam without Biology/ Mathematics have to complete deficiency courses as prescribed by respective university.
Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry):
For M.S. Candidates/ All India Candidates: The candidate should be an Indian National and should have Passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology with 45% marks in appropriate Branch of Engineering & Technology from an AICTE or Central or State Govt. approved Institution. OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a UGC or AIU recognized University with 45% marks and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject, provided that students belonging to this category shall clear the subjects of Engg. Graphics/ Engg. Drawing & Engg. Mechanics of the first year Engineering Program along with second year subjects.
